Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of tutormt.com and the tutoring services provided by Tutor Meets Tutee Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. By booking a consultation or purchasing a programme, you agree to these terms.

The service

Tutor Meets Tutee Ltd provides one-to-one online tutoring for GCSE Sciences, GCSE Maths, and A Level Biology, delivered by qualified tutors under the AQA specification. All sessions take place online via agreed video conferencing software.

Bookings and consultations

Initial consultations are free of charge and carry no obligation. A consultation is a 20-minute call to assess fit — it is not a tutoring session. Tutor Meets Tutee Ltd reserves the right to decline to take on a student if we do not believe we are the right fit.

Payment

The diagnostic assessment is priced at £99. The full 16-week programme is priced at £1,236. Payment is processed through Stripe. All prices include VAT where applicable. Payment is due before the relevant session or programme begins unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Cancellations and refunds

Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full. Sessions cancelled with more than 24 hours notice will be rescheduled at no charge. Refunds for programme fees are considered on a case-by-case basis depending on sessions delivered. Diagnostic assessment fees are non-refundable once the assessment has taken place.

Session recordings

Sessions may only be recorded with the explicit prior written consent of the parent or guardian. Recordings are for personal educational use only and may not be shared, published, or distributed in any form.

Conduct

We expect all students and parents to engage respectfully with our tutors. Tutor Meets Tutee Ltd reserves the right to terminate a tutoring arrangement without refund in cases of abusive, threatening, or inappropriate conduct.

Intellectual property

All materials produced by Tutor Meets Tutee Ltd, including session notes, revision resources, and practice questions, are the intellectual property of Tutor Meets Tutee Ltd. They may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed without written permission.

Limitation of liability

Tutor Meets Tutee Ltd provides tutoring support but does not guarantee specific exam results. Our liability is limited to the value of fees paid for sessions not yet delivered. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses of any kind.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
